DIRECTIONS
From Denver International Airport (DIA):
As you leave the airport, you will be on Pena Blvd. Travel 8 miles south on Pena Blvd. to I-70. Take I-70 westbound and travel 5 miles to the I-270 West exit. Travel 5 miles on I-270 until it joins US Highway 36 westbound. Travel 19 miles on Hwy 36 and exit at Baseline Road. Turn left on Baseline and go 1.5 miles up the hill. Just past 9th Street, turn left into Chautauqua Park. Follow the two signs to the Lodging Office. We're on Morning Glory Drive, in Academic Hall, the off-white, two-story building on your right hand side.
Alternative Tollway From Denver International Airport (DIA):
If you are in a hurry, or don't want to face the challenges of crossing Denver during rush hour traffic, we recommend the Northwest Parkway/E470. As you exit DIA, look for the signs to the Northwest Parkway/E470. It costs approximately $8.00 to travel the full distance. The Parkway ends about 6 miles east of Boulder near the intersection of Highway 36 and the Flatirons Mall. From the end of the Parkway, follow the signs to Hwy 36 westbound, then exit at Baseline Road and follow the instructions above. There are no toll booths. Just keep driving and they will take a photo of your license plate and send you a bill in the mail. If you are driving a rental car, your rental car company will bill you. Be aware, some rental car companies add significant surcharges.
From Denver:
Take highway 36 (Denver-Boulder Turnpike) to Boulder. When approaching Boulder, take Baseline Exit. At light, turn left; follow direction above.
From Golden:
Take Highway 93 to Boulder. This road will become Broadway once you enter the city. Turn left onto Baseline Road; follow directions above.
From Longmont:
Take Diagonal Hwy #119 to Boulder. Once you get to northern edge of the city, take the road marked Foothills Parkway (also known as 47th Street). Turn right on Baseline Road; follow directions above.
From Cheyenne:
Travel south on I-25 until you reach US Highway 36 north. Travel 19 miles northbound on Hwy 36 and exit at Baseline Road; follow directions above.
Basic Directions within Chautauqua Park:
From main road (Kinnikinic) to:
Dining Hall: Left just after the large green area onto Clematis.
Community House: Take third left after the large green area onto Morning Glory Drive. It will be the 4th building on the left (stucco and stone).
Academic Hall (main office): Take third left after large green area onto Morning Glory Drive. It will be the two-story off-white building on the right hand side across the street from the Community House.
Auditorium: Take fourth left after the large green area onto Primrose Drive. Go to the end where there is a parking area. The Auditorium is right in front of you. It is the large tan barn-like building.
